1. Click on the Microsoft Logo in the upper left
hand corner and choose PowerPoint Options
2. Check
the box next to: Show Developer tab in Ribbon
3. Click OK
4. Click on the Developer Tab
5. In
the Control Box, click on the icon that is More Tools (it looks like a hammer
and wrench)
6. Scroll
down until you see Shockwave Flash Object and click on it
7. Then
click OK
8. Then your arrow changes to cross hairs, so draw a box where you want your video
a. You
can always move the box to a different spot or make it bigger if you need to
9. Then go to YouTube and find the video you needed
10. Once it is up, click in the box in the right hand side that says URL and copy the link
11. Go back to PowerPoint and right click on the white box with the X in it and choose Properties
12. Find where it says movie and in the white space next to it paste the movie link

13. Then where you see watch? In the web address, delete it so the address looks like: http://www.youtube.com/v=aeeR4Vnvs8U
14. Then where you see the equal sign put in a slash like this: http://www.youtube.com/v/aeeR4Vnvs8U
15. Then look for where it says Loop on the left hand side and change it to False
a. Otherwise it’ll be like the Energizer bunny and just keep on going
16. Then look for Playing on the left hand side and choose False
17. Then click the X in the upper right hand corner
18. It will still just look like a white box with an X in it and that is OK. When you go to run the slide show it will pop up
